We loved the walk along the lakeside into town. It takes around 45mins but the views are incredible. We had all the amenities we required for the couple of nights we were there. I could not recommend this place enough if you are visiting Taupo.

There was a very peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Hosts recommended a great restaurant in town, walked in via the shortcut, and the owner's daughter drove us home! Such a gorgeous place, felt rested after our visit.
