We are a family of four (kids 5 & 1 years old). We drove from Muscat to Sohar and spent 3 nights here. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The family suite had a large living room and the whole place was very clean. It was nice that there are tables and seats under a shade in front of the house. The playground was the highlight for the kids. There are several restaurants (many are called coffee shops) nearby. In the evening, we went picknicking at the beach where the locals also went. I saw a sandwich stand which is open in the evening at the beach too. The atmosphere was really nice. Some mosquitoes came through the bathroom, so we kept the bathroom door closed.

It is simple and not complicated. Location is fantastic and the staff just brilliant. I felt at home here and did not feel like leaving. I love the sound of waves and the walks on the unspoilt beach. It's not like a typical holiday spot, Everything is natural! You will understand once you visit this place. I recommend room with ocean view. I sat on the balcony looking out whilst finishing off a few assignments! The city centre is not too far and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. One desert place i would really recommend is , Baaz Cafe.....pure bliss!
