Room is very spacious, clean and fresh. Salem is such a hospitable owner - he also makes boat trips (amazing ones, we’ve seen dolphins and turtles) and he treated us to fruits and tea upon arrival. He also helped us after check-our when we got stuck in the sand 🙈 so grateful Breakfast was rich and tasty. Don’t hesitate to speak with other guests, Salem attracts interesting people to this place :)

Sometimes the most difficult places to reach are the best. At the end of an abandoned runway lies a great guesthouse where the hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home. It is located near the beach where fishermen bring their catch to shore. If you so wish the owner will barbeque these fish for dinner for you. You can choose to relax in the Bedouin tent next to the guest house or take the half hour drive to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. And don’t be surprised if you spot a baby turtle near the guesthouse who took the wrong turn at the beach. In every way a great place to stay.

Great location close to the beach and a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommended!

The Best Western Sur is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. The best hotel for all of our stay in Oman. We booked 3 rooms for our group of 6 people. It's not just our rooms, but the entire hotel is very clean. The bathroom was also clean and smelled great. The location was convenient for us to explore the beaches close to Sur. We went to a hidden beach called Al-Khesah which is about 30 mins drive from the hotel. The beach was pristine and completely empty. This is no doubt one of best beaches I've ever been to. It is also convenient to drive to Bidiyah from this hotel.

There is a swimming pool and a cozy shaded seating area available as well as the indoor reception area / majlis. The host, Mr. Abdullah, is very helpful and always available on site. He did everything to make the stay enjoyable. We were traveling over the Eid holidays and on this occasion were treated to a delicious home cooked dinner, provided by the owner Mr. Humaid.

Its a modern house with pool, three floors of apartments, nicely decorated and furnished, clean and so on. But this on its own is normal so to say and doesn't mean a 10/10. What makes this a 10/10 is the lovely receptionist guy. First of all we had some issues during the day and were going to be late for check in, we arrived at 8:30pm. The guy stayed extra in order to let us check in. Then he offered us to go to the nearby restaurant and he would pick us up dinner if we were hungry (he offered it for breakfast too). He made sure we had everything we need - coffee, tea, water, medicine (as we were also sneezing a bit) so an amazing friendly guy. The next day we checked out and went to do Wadi Tiwi (which I recommend and was the reason we stayed in the area) and not only did he let us leave the car in the parking there, but also after we came back from the Wadi and had already checked out, he let us take a hot shower and change our clothes. If his boss reads this review, your receptionist guy is amazing !
