What made my stay even more special was the way he surprised me for my birthday. He arranged a small celebration in his beautiful traditional tent, surrounded by other guests, creating such a heartfelt and touching moment that I will never forget. The staff at the guest house were also exceptional, always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every need. The environment is peaceful, beautifully set. One of the highlights of my stay was the boat trip organized by Salem, where we had the chance to see dolphins in their natural habitat. It was magical and truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We really liked this place and enjoyed our stay here. The host is incredibly friendly and loves to offer tea and dates. From him we learned a lot about turtles, rain in oman etc. ;-) The terrace does not only provide shade, it is also a nice place to meet other guests and relax in the afternoon. About the surroundings: The turtle reserve in Ras al Jinz is about a 20 mins drive away, so not too far if you want to go there for the morning or evening-excursion. The beach in Ras al Hadd itself is really quiet. From here you can go snorkeling and on a boat tour to see some dolphins or turtles in the water, if you're lucky ;-) the trip can be booked at the guest house

So we were unsure whether to book this or not because of the reviews here, but took the risk! The property was absolute AMAZING, the location was perfect, but the staff were unbelievable! I mentioned it’s one of our friends birthdays and he went out to FILL the villa with balloons, decorations, birthday cake, candy, and lots of other fun things for when we arrived! We all arrived at awkward timings but he made sure to meet us super early to check in. He arranged a chef to cook us a bbq, constantly made sure we were well looked after, the villa is amazing, clean, comfortable, awesome cinema room, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and there’s a steam room! Huge villa but still very homely feeling, 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon! Again thank you so much to the staff for making sure we were well looked after and going above and beyond at every stage! You were awesome !

The Best Western Sur is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. The dining room staff were very friendly. We appreciated the time your new young Indian girl, sorry can't remember her name. She has only been in Oman a couple of and is very professional and friendly, please thank her from us.

There is a swimming pool and a cozy shaded seating area available as well as the indoor reception area / majlis. The host, Mr. Abdullah, is very helpful and always available on site. He did everything to make the stay enjoyable. We were traveling over the Eid holidays and on this occasion were treated to a delicious home cooked dinner, provided by the owner Mr. Humaid.

Everything worked well,we had no issues with water or lights. The coast is really near,with a beautiful cliff and you can see some birds and shells.
