Every detail was looked after. The accommodations were super, the food was really good and the staff were exceptional. And this part of Bluff Beach where the hotel sits across from is both stunning and awesome inspiring.

The owner David was the perfect host, so helpful with advise on Bocas where to eat and which people to contact to organize Island trips.

Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

This is a very peaceful place, close to nature and places to explore or just relax. I enjoyed doing SUP in the nearby nature and snorkeling the coral reef on the other side of the mangroves that are in front of the house. Sally and Mike are very personnable and welcoming, and I would definitely choose to stay with them again when in Bocas. Totally recommended! The breakfast was amazing too and my boyfriend´s only complain (not truly) was that it was so good that he´d love to have a second plate. It is truly a gem!

I would give it 11 out of 10 if it would be possible. We heard and saw a lot of monkeys and birds, it was a really amazing experience that I will remember for a long time in my life. It's like you live in the middle of the jungle, but with all the benefits of a modern world. Interior of the capsule is beautiful, a really spacious shower with a roof window, so you feel like you connect with the nature. All facilities are new and clean. There is a shared kitchen and a fridge that you can use, and a nice pool area. Receptionist was very kind and attentive, and seemed really interested in our needs. A delicious and healthy breakfast was included in the price. Outside the hotel you can find some nice restaurants and beach clubs, and sea is just across the street. Hotel staff helped us with the motorcycle rent, which is only in a 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Bocas town is reachable by taxi in less then 10 minutes and taxi cost only 2 dollars per person! What I cannot put in words is the atmosphere of this place, which is really peaceful and just beautiful.

Villa F&B có hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên ở Bocas Town. Ngoài nhà hàng, chỗ nghỉ còn có quầy bar và tiện nghi thể thao dưới nước. Fabienne and Benoit have created a very special experience for people around the world. The location is like being in paradise. if you choose to relax or go on one of the excursions like snorkeling or visiting beaches on other islands, Benoit will organize it or even take you there himself. The king size beds and pillows are super comfy. But one of the standout features of F & B Villa is Fabienne’s cuisine! I spent five days here and every day was like being in a five star restaurant. The delicious breakfast was enough to hold you over until dinner, which was always a wonderful surprise. I can’t say enough about this place: the hospitality, the food, the swimming pool and the luxe rooms. Thank you, Benoit and Fabienne for a wonderful experience!

Super nice property in a quiet jungle paradise on Bastimentos Island. Very well maintained garden and guest cabins with everything available to enjoy nature like a snorkeling spot right in front, a jungle loop hiking trail and free use of good kayaks and SUP boards. A sloth was hanging out with her baby in a tree next to the restaurant and it is easy to spot the red frogs nearby, see amazing corals and fish in the snorkeling spot and other wildlife. The owners are extremely nice and the food was amazing every day.
