A balcony with sea views is offered in each unit. Hands down the best place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Mariluz and Henry are sweet, hospitable, and highly accommodating hosts! Their home is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. You need not worry about looking for a place to eat either as Mariluz can make you lunch and dinner everyday, for a very good price. I loved the meals! My room had an amazing view of Lake Titicaca. Absolutely, a relaxing oasis. The place is located near the pachamama and pachatata trails. If you want to come to this wonderful island, you should pay for the full day Uros and Amantani tour. To return to Puno, you can take a local boat and then a couple of collectivos back (about 23 soles) to Puno. Check with Henry about the times. Also, I learned a lot about the Amantani culture during my stay. I ended up buying some souvenirs and beanies that Mariluz herself made. Amazingly talented and resourceful family. I had a great time.

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

Guido and his family are welcoming and wonderful hosts, and we felt completely welcome in their home. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing view, Guido organised fabulous activities - a walk up the hill with his daughter to watch the sunset, helping the family to plant potatoes, and a return boat trip to Puno via Taquile Island. Best of all he organised a private trip to a very small Uros Island where we were almost the only visitors - a complete contrast to what we had heard about the islands being very commercial. However it was useful to know some Spanish for this trip.
