A balcony with sea views is offered in each unit. Delightful family. Henry and Mariluz were so welcoming. She made fresh food for breakfast and asked us so made lunch ( including a picnic) and dinner. Henry walked us up to Pachamama and introduced to plants to help with altitude. Great sunset from here. Mariluz showed us her weaving and knitting skills. The west side of the island where they were was tranquil. A map was shared so we could walk around the island the next day and also walk up Pachatata.

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

There is a mix of buildings for both rooms as well as serving breakfast and dinner. The real hidden gem was Guido, Sarah and their children who were delightful. We were able to engage in several activities, such as harvesting and thrashing quinoa that made it unique and educational.

There are not really any restaurants there, so we were thankful that the host cooked for us for a good price (lunch and dinner for 15 dollars a person) - she cooked very good and 3 courses each time. Vegetarian option available. The parking spot was great, directly in front of the house. The room was very big and comfortable, the bed was nice and we had a lot of blankets to be warm during the night. The view is amazing, directly next to Titicaca lake. Bathroom was good with a shower (and bathtub) and warm water. WiFi was great. We didn't have that much contact to the hosts and children like other reviews but they were very nice.

We felt welcome from the very first second on, and they made sure to cater to every single one of our needs. They took us on boat rides (also on the traditional boats) on the lake, offered kayaking, and introduced us to the culture of the Uros. Everything exceeded our expectations by far - the lodge we stayed in had a glass ceiling extension, and we could see the stars at night while lying in our bed. The view at day was also spectacular, and we had a private terrace with two Deck chairs and a swinging sunbed. We particularly enjoyed the calmness at the Waliski lodge, since it is a bit further out at the lake and away from the touristy center. Particularly the sunrise and sunset were stunning. Also the meals were excellent and plenty. We truly enjoyed our two nights at the lodge to endulge in nature and refuel our batteries before heading to cusco for some trekking - we can only recommend this place!
