They were very accommodating and helped with all my transportation and other needs. The room was fantastic, featuring hot water, clean towels, comfortable mattresses, and cozy duvets that were perfect for the cold. The view was incredible, and I experienced the best starry sky of my life. All these elements combined made my stay at their lodge a dream, offering both comfort and warmth on the island. After almost two months of traveling in Peru, this may be our favorite place to have stayed. We booked the room with a view over the lake, and it was beautiful to wake up to. We enjoyed all of our meals and were taken great care of. The bed is super comfortable as well!

There is a mix of buildings for both rooms as well as serving breakfast and dinner. The real hidden gem was Guido, Sarah and their children who were delightful. We were able to engage in several activities, such as harvesting and thrashing quinoa that made it unique and educational.

A private beach area is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of titicaca lodge - LUQUINA. Our stay here was a very special and memorable experience. Guido and his family are welcoming and wonderful hosts, and we felt completely welcome in their home. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing view, Guido organised fabulous activities - a walk up the hill with his daughter to watch the sunset, helping the family to plant potatoes, and a return boat trip to Puno via Taquile Island. Best of all he organised a private trip to a very small Uros Island where we were almost the only visitors - a complete contrast to what we had heard about the islands being very commercial. However it was useful to know some Spanish for this trip.

Herman and his colleague (I forgot her name) helped us with everything - ordering food, taxi, laundry service and most important - one of the best trips during our stay in Peru, Amantani and Taquille islands. The breakfast was good, they asked if we wanted more bread, jam etc. They have hot water. Highly recommended.
