The hosts were friendly and went over and above for our stay. They organised our tour to Uros, the floating islands and Taquile Island. They came with us to interpret as we only spoke english. The room was warm and very comfortable. The shower was warm and clean. We ate meals there at a very reasonable price. The food was very good. We met other guests from other countries and had an excellent time. We would highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for an excellent stay.

A balcony with sea views is offered in each unit. Delightful family. Henry and Mariluz were so welcoming. She made fresh food for breakfast and asked us so made lunch ( including a picnic) and dinner. Henry walked us up to Pachamama and introduced to plants to help with altitude. Great sunset from here. Mariluz showed us her weaving and knitting skills. The west side of the island where they were was tranquil. A map was shared so we could walk around the island the next day and also walk up Pachatata.

After almost two months of traveling in Peru, this may be our favorite place to have stayed. We booked the room with a view over the lake, and it was beautiful to wake up to. We enjoyed all of our meals and were taken great care of. The bed is super comfortable as well!

There is a mix of buildings for both rooms as well as serving breakfast and dinner. The real hidden gem was Guido, Sarah and their children who were delightful. We were able to engage in several activities, such as harvesting and thrashing quinoa that made it unique and educational.

A private beach area is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of titicaca lodge - LUQUINA. Our stay here was a very special and memorable experience. Guido and his family are welcoming and wonderful hosts, and we felt completely welcome in their home. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing view, Guido organised fabulous activities - a walk up the hill with his daughter to watch the sunset, helping the family to plant potatoes, and a return boat trip to Puno via Taquile Island. Best of all he organised a private trip to a very small Uros Island where we were almost the only visitors - a complete contrast to what we had heard about the islands being very commercial. However it was useful to know some Spanish for this trip.

The property is around less than 1 km from Puno Train Station, a 14-minute walk from Plaza de Armas Puno and 1.2 km from Corregidor House. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared lounge and free WiFi. Herman and his colleague (I forgot her name) helped us with everything - ordering food, taxi, laundry service and most important - one of the best trips during our stay in Peru, Amantani and Taquille islands. The breakfast was good, they asked if we wanted more bread, jam etc. They have hot water. Highly recommended.
