Great view on the lake from the room. The cook is also great, very good diners. Very good hotel to discover the lake titicaca. We highly recommend!

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

It has amazing views of the Laguna and is sheltered from the wind. The rooms are cosy and there is plenty of space to relax. The meals are delicious and generous portions. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved staying here and would stay again in the future if we return.

Location is absolutely beautiful, right on the lake in a peaceful village. Lots of animals around and activities to do. A highlight was when we kayaked to a beautiful beach nearby. You can hike the mountain above the village as well. Guido, our host, organized trips to Taquile and the floating islands. The meals were home cooked and simple but outstanding. Highly recommend for a peaceful place to enjoy the region!

We felt welcome from the very first second on, and they made sure to cater to every single one of our needs. They took us on boat rides (also on the traditional boats) on the lake, offered kayaking, and introduced us to the culture of the Uros. Everything exceeded our expectations by far - the lodge we stayed in had a glass ceiling extension, and we could see the stars at night while lying in our bed. The view at day was also spectacular, and we had a private terrace with two Deck chairs and a swinging sunbed. We particularly enjoyed the calmness at the Waliski lodge, since it is a bit further out at the lake and away from the touristy center. Particularly the sunrise and sunset were stunning. Also the meals were excellent and plenty. We truly enjoyed our two nights at the lodge to endulge in nature and refuel our batteries before heading to cusco for some trekking - we can only recommend this place!

Such a special experience to stay with Nicanor and the family. We were lucky enough to go on a private tour, learn the history of the island and how they are constructed. We had a very comfortable sleep with lots of blankets. The bathroom was basic with no shower but perfect for one night. The included breakfast was delicious as was the trout we had for dinner. The location and experience are one of a kind.
