Amazing stay for our three days in Llachon, Lake Titicaca. The hosts were friendly and went over and above for our stay. They organised our tour to Uros, the floating islands and Taquile Island. They came with us to interpret as we only spoke english. The room was warm and very comfortable. The shower was warm and clean. We ate meals there at a very reasonable price. The food was very good. We met other guests from other countries and had an excellent time. We would highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for an excellent stay.

Henry and Mariluz were such accommodating and generous hosts. Henry carried our bags all the way from the ferry landing. Mariluz made such delicious home-cooked meals! The lodge had charming landscaping and stone work, and the hot shower was something we appreciated on the rustic island. What a delight, after a day of exploring, to sit on the lounge chairs outside, read a novel, sip on a glass of wine, and look out at the magnificent view. Plus it was fun to look at Mariluz's beautiful crochet work! Amantani Lodge gets a ten out of ten!

After almost two months of traveling in Peru, this may be our favorite place to have stayed. We booked the room with a view over the lake, and it was beautiful to wake up to. We enjoyed all of our meals and were taken great care of. The bed is super comfortable as well!

Sat on the shores of the lake, the property offered beautiful views and sunsets. There is a mix of buildings for both rooms as well as serving breakfast and dinner. The real hidden gem was Guido, Sarah and their children who were delightful. We were able to engage in several activities, such as harvesting and thrashing quinoa that made it unique and educational.

Our stay here was a very special and memorable experience. Guido and his family are welcoming and wonderful hosts, and we felt completely welcome in their home. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing view, Guido organised fabulous activities - a walk up the hill with his daughter to watch the sunset, helping the family to plant potatoes, and a return boat trip to Puno via Taquile Island. Best of all he organised a private trip to a very small Uros Island where we were almost the only visitors - a complete contrast to what we had heard about the islands being very commercial. However it was useful to know some Spanish for this trip.

Of our entire 3-week trip in Peru, the 2-day stay at this lodge was one of the highlights. Eduardo and Gloria are wonderful hosts. They provide you with enough privacy, but if you feel like talking and engaging in conversation, they are patient and accommodating. The food (3 meals a day) was absolutely delicious (Gloria is a skilled chef). The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. Outside, there were loungers and a veranda bed for added relaxation. The lodge is situated far away from the other reed islands, making it pleasantly quiet with only the sounds of birds chirping and a gentle breeze. It's a place for absolute relaxation. Compared to other lodges, you have hot water for showers, which is important on the cold nights of Lake Titicaca. However, the lodge provides a heater and four blankets. They also offer hot water bottles, so we were never cold. There are various activities available, including kayaking, a small tour of the community, a ride on a reed boat, and much more. During these activities, Eduardo provides detailed insights into the history and UROS culture. We would 100% recommend this lodge, and if we didn't live so far away, we would come back. Herman and his colleague (I forgot her name) helped us with everything - ordering food, taxi, laundry service and most important - one of the best trips during our stay in Peru, Amantani and Taquille islands. The breakfast was good, they asked if we wanted more bread, jam etc. They have hot water. Highly recommended.

The owner is very helpful and can arrange everything for us!!One of the most hard working guys I have seen!!! The breakfast is very good and his cooking is great! We love our chifas that he cooked!! It's a great way to see how the local people live. He also offers tours. Excellent stay and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
