An incredible stay at this hotel. Loved absolutely everything. Stylish cozy and modern rooms (the beds are SO comfortable), rooftop bar with great views and cocktails, Michelin star vegan food. The food was an absolute highlight for me being a vegan. A really well thought, diverse, colourful menu and every single dish I tried was delicious and bursting with flavours. Honestly, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff incredible and constantly going the extra mile in providing outstanding customer service, whether that be calling me a tuk tuk to visit places, arranging boat expeditions- they even made sure I had water to take with me when I left the hotel as I had quite a drive to my next destination. Staff always SO happy, helpful and friendly. Also, the wonderfully cute and gorgeous HH- the hotel cat :) I miss this hotel already and if I ever return to El Nido town I will be sure to stay here again. Highly recommend

I had the best sleep ever, every night. There is a nice swimming pool, and the restaurant has a varied menu and good food. They also have a shuttle to take us to their peaceful and beautiful private Papaya beach. The travel agency they work with for the tours is excellent. Its location is ideal, because a 2 minute walk from the main street, and yet not noisy. I could say many more things about the hotel, but their highlight is definitely their outstanding service! Their staff is attentive, the kindest I ever met, and give us personalized care. They are amazing, always smiling and happy. They greet us by our first name every time we arrive at the reception. A special thanks to the reception staff Val, CJay, Zel, Julie and Kim and Sharmaine and Ken at the restaurant. I had more contact with them, but all the Funny Lion team, at any place or any time of the day , were super kind and nice. I highly recommend it, and would definitely stay here again if I came back to El Nido.

The decoration, infrastructure, staff and food are amazing. We felt like we were in a private island. You can do snorkeling, or go to the other side and see the shipwreck. They offer yoga and dance classes. The best part was the food and the staff, I didn't want to leave this beautiful place! Remember to bring cash or have a wise account if you are short of cash they can help you with a transfer. No signal!!

The people were amazing! Marielle took is to Lio beach, she is super sweet and went around with my friend and I, James has been very kind and I really like playing chess with him. Hes very good and very outgoing. Joseph is also very friendly, he always checked to make sure my friend and I are doing ok, Jonna has a very bubbly personality, it was really lovely talking with her, Celeste and Ellen are always smiling and very approachable.

From the moment you stepped foot on the property, hotel manager Par, introduced himself and the entire team that catered to us during our entire stay. We loved the top of the line amenities. Nespresso coffee, Dyson hair dryers etc. Airport and beach a couple minutes away, The shuttle that picked up and dropped off. Welcome drinks and snacks.
