The staff here was always smiling and very accommodating and thankfully I never felt the negative bias against me as a single male - they were always very kind… The resort has it’s own boats (parked right near the beach) for diving tours, which is amazing! And man, I had the most empathetic and careful snorkelling guide - cannot appreciate him enough… But even if you don’t want to get in the sea, it’s okay to just go see the waterfalls (perhaps with a driver - mine was very kind, helpful, and knew a lot about Philippine culture - and was driving safely, I would choose him again), hot springs, or just do nothing - it’s really fun to do nothing here - just swim, lay in the hammock, or journal tucked away somewhere… The restaurant here is top notch (very good), they make some very good food…
