Island World Panglao is situated in Panglao, within 800 metres of Alona Beach. Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, this property is set near attractions such as Danao Beach. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were clean and perfectly positioned poolside. The breakfast and dinners were delicious. The best part for me was the upstairs chill area , somewhere to escape if the sun gets too hot or the rain comes over, I read my book up there and was so chilled and comfortable, the owner kindly brought me a free coffee over too which was a lovely touch.

Very cosy and well located in Panglao. Nice and clean, well equipped Super friendly and helpful staff ! Even allowed a late check out as the room were not booked after us as we had a late flight in the evening Big plus : free ride around Panglao if the staff is available. Shuttle to the airport or even to port possible Dustin and his staff did everything to make us having a perfect stay :) recommend it 100% The best value for money we have had in the Philippines

The Buffet is affordable but delicious. All areas are squeaky clean, all amenities and supplies are clean. Staffs are friendly, hospitable, accomodating, and hardworking. We love the happy hour cocktails and drinks which is cheaper actually than the prices in the bars along Alona Beach. We love the mojito and drinking it next to the Skypool. With this excellent experience we will book with Henann Hotels next time. Will wait for Henann Palawan. Will recommend it to my family and friends.

It was a very cozy and comfortable place. Although it’s a bit far from downtown but it’s very quiet and the price is very good. The staff there were very nice. We went to the beach 5 mins away. Kids were so happy to swim there and we found lots of urchins on the shore. But better not touch them. Breakfast was nice too.

Nằm ở Đảo Panglao, cách Bãi biển Dumaluan 8 phút đi bộ và Hang Hinagdanan 11 km, Izla Soanna cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có khu vườn và Wi-Fi miễn phí cũng như chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí cho khách lái xe. My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Alona Apartments. The property features a well-maintained pool, and since our room was on the ground floor, it was incredibly convenient with direct access right outside our doorstep. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—including cooking utensils and even waste separation bins for clean and efficient recycling. We especially enjoyed the small patio where we could relax and unwind. One of the best aspects of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere at night—something that’s not always easy to find in the Alona Beach area. The entire facility felt safe and welcoming, with a friendly security guard at the gate who also shared helpful local tips. The owners, Danny and Mae, were wonderful hosts. Danny personally greeted us upon arrival, which made us feel very welcomed. He was also very responsive and attentive to our messages during our stay, promptly answering any questions and addressing any concerns we had. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to both Alona Beach and the main street, giving easy access to restaurants and shops while still being tucked away in a quieter area. Overall, this is an ideal place for couples and families looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly stay near the beach. I’d give it a solid 10/10!
