We had an amazing stay at John’s place, he’s very friendly and helpful with all we need. The room is very comfortable, which was amazing in raining days to stay all long, also the tv room with Netflix was a great bonus. The location is walkable to the center but if you don’t want to walk John’s will help you to rent a scooter.

Where do I start? It’s hard to find words for place as lovely as Casavia. The people are the best around - Carlos, Patricia, Jake and the rest of the gang are absolutely impeccable. They make you feel like family, cannot do enough and are just generally awesome human beings. Jake is also an awesome musician, and chef. Carlos is the king of Casavia - ensuring smooth stay for everyone and has an unbreakable bond with the dogs, and just generally makes you feel safe and looked after. Super clean, and the cleaners (whose names I’ve forgotten - sorry!) are super lovely and working super hard to keep the place spotless. Beds are the best I’ve ever had in the whole of my time in Asia. Kitchen facilities awesome. Views of the sea. Great location. Pretty much a private beach nearby? Showers in the jungle? What more could you ask for. Obsessed with the shelves you get inside your pod. This was a place you could fully unpack and make a “home”; which is why I stayed for 3 weeks - and why you should too.

Featuring a balcony with sea views, pool with a view and a garden, Mantaray Siargao can be found in General Luna, close to General Luna Beach and 1.7 km from Malinao Beach. We spent 30 days in the Philippines, and this was by far our favorite place to stay. The location, the landscaping/grounds, the view, the room with all of it beautiful and unique touches were exceptional. The hosts Joseph and Elvira were amazing — super helpful with renting, scooters, tips for restaurants, arranging a masseuse to come to the property, setting up a private island hopping experience, and a surfing trip—you name it! The cold coconut water upon arrival, umbrellas, rain ponchos, flowers in the spa-like bathroom, the most luxurious bed and linens … I could go on and on. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Set in San Isidro, a few steps from Pacifico Beach, Yapak Beach Villas offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Among the facilities at this property are room service and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can have a drink at the bar. We loved it here and couldn't have chosen a better place on the island to spend Christmas. The staff are all amazing and really help to make the place feel like a home away from home. The villa was really comfortable and spacious, and by the end of our stay it really felt like home too. The view from the villa was beautiful and even when the weather turned it was great to have a covered area to sit outside and watch the waves. The food and drinks from the restaurant were always great and never disappointed us, and we ended up eating here so often that we pretty much tried everything on the menu. All the staff are so brilliant, but Romeo on the front desk is especially great at going above and beyond and couldn't have been more helpful from start to end of our stay. Elsa is also brilliant, and always served us with a smile. But again, all the staff members were brilliant, and I'm just sorry we didn't get a chance to know more of them by name. We hope to come back to the Philippines and Siargao again in the future and will definitely be looking to stay at Yapak again when we do - for sure the best all rounder resort on the island in our opinion.
