It was the perfect combination of a beautiful hotel room with the comfort and convenience of a fully equipped apartment. Everything felt brand new, meticulously clean, and beautifully designed, and having a kitchen and all the necessary appliances was a huge plus! It truly felt like a home away from home. The location is perfectly situated in the heart of the city, everything was within easy reach. In addition, the hotel staff went above and beyond to suggest hidden gems and must-see spots around the island, tailoring the advice to my interests. I can't recommend this place highly enough! If you're looking for exceptional service, beautiful accommodations that feel like a comfortable apartment, a prime location, look no further. You won't be disappointed!

The property features a year-round outdoor pool, indoor pool, fitness centre and garden. On arrival, staff took our luggage and gave us a keycard to access the private parking. Our bags were then taken to our rooms after checking in. The view from our room was amazing, however it does not compare to view from the rooftop bar! Breakfast was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Overall 10/10 stay.

The breakfast and the location was good Everything looked clean. I like the fact of the coffee machine with many choices.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. It offers 3 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, a Spa and a sun deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gardens. Lovely hotel beautiful views lovely pool the hotel was fully booked but didn’t feel like it very impressed with it will definitely come back they even let us check out later than usual at 2 pm and we could use the showers by the Spa very accommodating

The spacious rooms are individually designed following the 4-seasons-of-the-year theme. Each features an LCD TV with in-room movies, free WiFi and a laptop-size safe. The staff including Managers were very pleasant, accommodating and spoke perfect english. We travelled with our family of seven using 3 rooms. The breakfast was fantastic offering, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, coffees and my favourite freshly squeezed orange juice to name a few items. Our rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Separate large rooms for both the toilet and walk in shower. We had a great view of the sea port where the cruise ships were docked. The Vine has the best location in Funchal and is an easy walk to many attractions. This was my second visit to the Vine.
