Gerês Villas ligger 1,7 km fra Canicada-søen og tilbyder en udendørs swimmingpool og en have samt indkvartering med aircondition, balkon og gratis wi-fi. This is a wonderful property, very clean (in fact the property looks new). The kitchen is well equipped although has none of the basic consumables you might need (salt, pepper, oil, sugar, etc). The balcony is a nice size with plenty of room for sun loungers, chairs, table & a drying rack. The barbeque grill built into the wall is a boon and got lots of use during our stay. There is a great view over the lake and it is quite peaceful, being away from the main road. The swimming pool is excellent for lazy days and we often had it to ourselves, it's big enough to actually swim in if you want (~8m long). Our host was wonderful, quick to respond to requests and very helpful (we met her once in the supermarket when buying fish and she stepped in on our behalf to ensure we got the best sardines (for the aforementioned barbeque)) Overall a great property in a great location that we'd be happy to return to.

Casa do Eido ligger i Geres, 19 minutters gang fra Canicada-søen, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. The location of this place is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was also very comfortable as well. Would highly recommend.

Villas do Agrinho - Gerês ligger i Valdosende og har gratis wi-fi. Gæsterne kan nyde godt af et privat strandområde, en terrasse og en tennisbane. We loved everything about the Villas. The location was perfect, tucked away near the river with a 15 minute drive to the national park. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brought in a basket every morning with fresh pastries and bread, fruit, yogurt and cereal. The access to the river was great, we spent most days swimming and relaxing by the water. Both the kayaks and the SUPS were free to use. We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back.

The location is amazing, with an excellent view to the lake. There are A/C in all the rooms, living room and kitchen so it was very easy to stay comfortable even in winter. The property was very clean, we found coffee and tea and some cooking basics (oil, salt, spices). The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious. We could cook together as a group. The space was bright and welcoming. Pay attention that all the rooms have double beds. For those of us who weren't couples it still worked but we had to share the bed. The bedrooms were clean, well lit, and comfortable.

Beautiful characterful cottage, fully equipped with everything you could want. Lovely terrace kitchen for dinner in the evenings. Fantastic views from the terraces over the lake. Great location for exploring Geres (by car)

Casa de Ribes T2 Vista Fantástica ligger ca. 3,5 km fra Santuário de São Bento da Porta Aberta og har en terrasse, gårdhave og udsigt til byen. Lovely apartment with a great view. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Patio/decking outside was much bigger than expected and really great in the hot weather. About a 15 min walk to the small town where there was a small supermarket and a couple of restaurants/bars (few more if prepared to walk a little further). Walk back is up a steep hill, so keep in mind, but that's what allows for the lovely views. Great scenic location.
