The room was spacious and equipped with everything needed, minus a coffee machine.AC works well, and despite street traffic, the room was quiet. I requested hot water for tea, and Vasilica at the front desk gave me a brand-new electric kettle to use in the room. Breakfast is served at a table and is enough to feel you. The location is excellent; it is close to the center and the road to the monastery. They have a pool which is very clean and private. Great hotel!

The property features a huge open deck which has a fully equipped kitchen complete with lots of fridges, a pool, and plenty sun loungers. You can do everything there: cook a meal, take a dip in the pool or in the Danube, or just kick it back, knowing that a cold drink is always at hand. It also has a geographical feature that I find quite charming: the sun rises twice! (like at the Double Rise) Once at sunrise, when you begin to see, and then when it rises from behind the mountain opposite over the Danube. Given that the sun is higher up when it comes out proper, I've seen some of the most amazing "golden bridges" ever. All the rooms have balconies facing the river, and an other useful thing is that the parking lot is right out the door, so you can have your car as a quasi extension of your room, which is quite useful. The host is the best of the best. He treats every guest as a friend, and would go above and beyond for you to have the best experience possible. There are so many wonderful things to see and do in the surrounding area, and he is a treasure trove of information.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The small kitchenette was well equipped. Air conditioning is a great plus.

The hosts are very nice people, very discrete and they try to not disturb you in any way and leave you be. The food is very tasty, Daniela is a really good cook: fresh fish(caught by her husband every day), generous breakfast and delicious fig jam. The place is pretty secluded and there's nothing to disturb you, lots of peace and quiet, just good for a relaxing stay.
