The whole experience was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person. I arrived outside of check-in hours, and it the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The hotel was comfortable and neat and tidy in scenic surroundings. There was always parking available somewhere close by. Even though there was a party in the restaurant, the hotel lays a bit further away from it, so I couldn't hear anything and had a really peaceful night. The hotel also has a common room, a sauna and a kitchen with a fridge, so it was easy to get my morning coffee and some me-time and take a morning walk on the huge ground, before going for breakfast. I could also store some snacks and drinks in the fridge, which made my life really easy, being so far away from shops. The breakfast was tasty, had a huge selection with lots of fresh ingredients and lots of options. The summer weekend dinner was delicious, too. The whole place is very cozy, calm, and recharging. I wish I spent the whole week here <3

Mälby Säteri B&B har en sauna og gratis privat parkering og ligger indenfor 40 km fra Nyköping Centralstation og 31 km fra Togstationen Södertälje Syd. I came here by bike. The host was so flexible and helpful as well as others. The location is calm and beautiful and my room (small single bedroom) has a lake view. It is simple and village style exactly what you should expect, and it is clean and tidy! The main building is few hundred years old and if you meet Anders he may give you a good history about it! The romm in which the breakfast was served was also very nice and old school! The wooden sauna experience next to lake was unforgettable! I will come here again!

We attended a wedding at the manor and decided to extended our stay to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. There's a gorgeous lake and you can go for a refreshing plunge (but the area has lots of waterlilies so can't do proper swimming) and hire a kayak. We also walked around the lake - it was great but would recommend borrowing the cycles from the manor as the 15-20km is more of a leisurely bike ride distance. Surrounded by idyllic countryside: flower fields where you can pick your own for a small donation, grain fields, cows and horses, old-fashioned barns, summerhouses, woods with blueberries and cowberries, lakes, etc. Comfy bed, clean new facilities, great breakfast. The main manor house is gorgeous.
