Very nice location at Playa Grande with great views of Cao Grande. Rooms are basic but spacious and comfortable. Food is exceptional, particularly dinners. Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

People in the community are very friendly, local bar recommended to experience the vibes. Hosts Sara, her brother and Joao will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. They speak English as well.

Offering a restaurant, Mucumbli is located in Ponta Figo. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The accommodation will provide you with a balcony and a seating area. We loved everything about Mucumbli. The amazing food, beautiful views and fabulous staff. Can't recommend enough!

Booked here for my friends and me this week and our stay was wonderful! Kenito & his staff go out of their way to assist clients. Note however if you are an English-only speaker, communication with the staff is going to be hard. Great all-around services otherwise!

Amazing place with beautiful location. The staff is great and food very delicious. The road to get there is a bit difficult but if you have a good car or an arranged transport, no problem. There is limited electricity and only cold water but that didn't bother us at all. The whole experience in this peaceful place was just perfect.

The breakfast is personalized instead of a buffet. I didn't even have to request it. Soon after I sat at a table I was served by an ample sort of food. Local fruits, ham, cheeze, and more. I tried several kinds of brewed tea. For those that love lemon, I suggest to try the Chalela tea :). The location is slightly away from the city center, about 5 minutes from car. This both gave me a calm area for sleep and relaxation, and made it quick to get there whenever I needed, which suited my needs perfectly.
