It was the best! The hotel is very clean and convenient overall. The room, the beach, the pool… the bed was I think the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was amazing, wide, clean and practical. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all spoke very good English. The beach is really good too. At first I was scared because they warned us there might be jellyfish but we didn’t see any and everyone else was also enjoying the ocean, so I don’t think it’s common. The sunbeds get busy during the day but we always managed to find one. There are really nice restaurants/bars and massage places on the beach too next to the hotel. There is happy hours during the day at the pool bar and you get 1+1 on the drinks! The breakfast was good with selections wide enough. We haven’t tried the hotel’s restaurant but ordered room service once and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a top resort experience and we definitely want to come back.

The new Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort – SHA Plus is an absolute beachfront property situated on Bangsak beach, a long stretch of coastline off the Andaman Sea, just a 90 minute drive from Phuket... Everything was clean. Location is perfect. Breakfast was amazing.

The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

The hotel, the amenities and really all the staff of the hotel from each staff department without exception, we felt like in family! Everything was perfect and all the team also from the restaurant ! Especially in the Japanese Restaurant Man and Techin with who we had a great moment !!! Thank to the Marriott we did many five star but this one is really the best one we had our best vacation ever !!!

A beautiful and calm place, located away from the main road and right at the beach. Felt a bit like being in the jungle (in a good way), because there are a lot of trees on the property. The staff was outstandingly friendly and kind. I got a free room upgrade and prolonged my stay. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was fantastic. Nice big pool. Dive schools are in walking distance. Good location to do day trips (e.g. diving) with pick up from the hotel.

It’s clean, nice pool area, and the Gigi restaurant is very good. Staff were great from the gate through cleaner.

Beautiful outlook and garden setting maintained to a high standard. Staff were a pleasure to deal with and always available and helpful. Couldn’t fault this hotel.

Excellent service, luxurious place, lots of attention to detail, like the audio bluetooth connection to the villa sound system was such a nice touch.

Staff was incredibly nice and they also have motorbikes on site for rent! 150 baht/day for the motor bikes (~$4.50USD/day). Great location, within 5-10 minute motorbike ride to “main drag” of town or the beach!
