We received a warm welcome from manager Bris and her mother. The staff and Nii made us feel at home here. The bungalow is very clean, large and comfortable with strong Wifi. The garden is well kept and clean. The vibes are sweet, peaceful and kind. The distance between bungalows gives privacy. At a 5 minutes walk through a garden area with a Japanese restaurant in a romantic setting, you arrive at Klong Prao beach where there are relaxing cocktail bars and restaurants, swim and watch the sunset. The main road offers many restaurants, both delicious streetfood and other options incl. Italian, Korean and Greek. There is a Buddhist Temple across the Seven Eleven. Baan Rim Klong offers the perfect central location to explore Koh Chang by scooter, which Bris rents at a very reasonable price. The Staff is very helpful and extremely kind. Really lovely small resort on a nice beach. Bungalows are spacious and nicely decorated with enough space for your clothes. Bed was very comfortable, air condition good and quiet at night. There is a fridge/mini bar, a safe, an ironing board, umbrellas, a beach bag, a water boiler with tea and coffee and a television that you can watch your streaming platforms on. you can get beach towels in the reception building, as well as breakfast, or just coffee, beer, drinks etc. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They also organise a motorbike for your or have a free shuttle service up to the main road with a lot of restaurants and shops. the small beach in front of the hotel is very nice and you can get sun chairs or bean bags from the hotel. the atmosphere is very peaceful, lots of birds everywhere and truly a place to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Koi and her sister are incredibly friendly and helpful hosts and made for us to have an incredible stay. The setting of the house is beautiful, with a great view over the sea. The rooms are very comfortable and designed with style, the bathroom is clean and practical.

Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.

The view from the deck was beautiful, very quiet and secluded. Mosquito net was easy to use and worked well. A beautiful stay for a very affordable bungalow.
