In Thailand it’s possible to do so. 3 minutes walk to a small beach where the sunset is beautiful and it’s good for snorkeling too. Next to the resort there is a small supermarket too.

Eco Tao is luxurious in every respect but it is an understated luxury in harmony with nature. As soon as one arrives at Eco Tao, one feels relaxed. The body relaxes, so do the senses. It has everything one needs without any schnick-schnack. It's pure simplicity. Staff are very helpful and professional, everything is very well thought out and everything works. The pool is not large, but since the property only has 12 accommodation units in total, it never becomes crowded. Besides, the tranquility of the place just kind of enters everybody, so people are quiet, kind, respectful of each other.

An array of activities are offered in the area, such as snorkelling, diving and fishing. Beautiful beaches, such as Haadtien Beach and Freedom Beach, can be reached within a walking distance. Sunken Ship is 3.2 km from MAR24 Koh Tao Hotel, while Mango Bay is 6 km away. The staff and owner of this hotel are fantastic. This was our second stay (14 days!) and they were extremely accommodating with any special requests we had. Cheers to the entire team. The rooms are spacious was great natural light, simple but comfortable. It's possible to rent motorbikes, book excursions and even buy your ferry tickets through them, all at very reasonable price. Our next stay on Koh Tao will definitely be here. See you next year folks?!

A very new resort and brilliantly set up. The staff were absolutely great, so friendly and very helpful. It is a short walk from the beach, but very close to bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this resort and would come again.

It's quiet and away from the party area which was perfect for my stay 🙂

The staff is super friendly and willing to help, took a bike here for a really reasonable price.
