I have never felt this degree of personal attention from ANY hotel before. The resort was very well managed in all aspects. Food options were extensive and well prepared, which is important because there are very few other options for food on this island. Breakfast was great, and part of the room price, but we ate nearly every meal at the resort during the five days that we were there. Both pools were very nice, and having free kayaks and snorkel gear available was also a plus. We stayed here to wind down after four weeks of touring SE Asia. It was the perfect ending to our trip.

The location of the homestay is perfect. Right next to Andalay Resort and directly on the beach, which was almost completely empty when we were there, as there are only a handful of hotels close by. There is a garden in front of the room with a lot of chairs and hammocks. There are only two rooms so it is never crowded. Multiple affordable restaurants and bars are nearby within walking distance. The rooms are modern, very clean and have modern, relatively silent ACs. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our wishes and spoke fluent English. The mother is always on the premise and she was the kindest and most caring woman ever. We had an medical emergency during our stay and she drove my girlfriend to the doctor and made sure that we have all we need.

A great spot by the water, lovely for sunrise Breakfast was included and on the balcony overlooking the sea and the staff went out of their way to adapt the breakfast to fit varying diets. The staff were very welcoming and although they didn't speak much English as soon as we messaged the property the admin lady resolved things immediately. A lovely and very relaxing place to stay.

My private room was inexpensive, had A/C and the room and bed were big and comfortable. The woman (Mama) who runs the place is very generous, thoughtful and kind. She only speaks Thai and I only speak English but we had no problems communicating. Her son also came by (he speaks both languages); They are a delightful family..quiet, friendly, respectful. This homestay location is out of the way, so you need to rent motorbike or taxi to get around (though I chose to walk).

Beautiful location on the untouched island of libong. Great hosts, lovely beach front huts with amazing views. We loved our stay there as the island is a natural Thai paradise for us. Sadly didn't see any dugong as they are rare but the boat trip around the island was amazing. The food in the restaurant was amazing also, would recommend the tamarind fish. Another special thing about the beach are the hundreds of hermit crabs so watch where you walk

Libong Beach Resort is a 10-minute drive to Baan Prao pier. Offering free Wi-Fi in public areas, the hotel also provides free private parking on site. Facilities are broadly in line with the cheap price - basic but functional. There are 2 exceptions - the location on a very attractive beachfront is 5 star. But unfortunately it's zero stars for the beds. It feels just like a sheet has been thrown over a slab of concrete. Still, you can doze on a beautiful beach to make up for the lost sleep. The island itself is very unspoilt and tranquil. And the islanders are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
