And the staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting the spa. We enjoyed our experience so much that we both went back for a second treatment! We also really enjoyed the live entertainment that we were able to observe one evening. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and our favourite stay during our trip to Thailand. And this was despite an overbooking and maintenance issue and being asked to give up our room with private pool access early, which the staff handled very well and compensated us generously for.

The new Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort – SHA Plus is an absolute beachfront property situated on Bangsak beach, a long stretch of coastline off the Andaman Sea, just a 90 minute drive from Phuket International Airport. The property was beautifully set on the beach. There was a delicious variety of food at breakfast and Chef Tao greeted us everyday. We especially enjoyed the lemongrass butterfly pea tea at the reception.

Situated on the Andaman Sea’s white-sand Khao Lak Beach, this Thai-style resort offers bright rooms with free WiFi access. Five restaurants and three bars are located on site. The resort boasts a 3.2 km lagoon pool. Every single staff we met are geniunly friendly and welcoming, even the garderner happily answered my questions with a smile. Wide range of facilities and activities that we couldn't even explore 20% during our 3day 2 nights stay. Loved the wave pool and the circular connecting pool. So much space for my son to run around. Olive restaurant's food was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Came back for buffet on next day and the chef at the cold cut area showed me the best way to eat a tomato. The memory of the time oir family spend there will be deeply treasured for a long time and we will 100% visit again in the future.

A beautiful and calm place, located away from the main road and right at the beach. Felt a bit like being in the jungle (in a good way), because there are a lot of trees on the property. The staff was outstandingly friendly and kind. I got a free room upgrade and prolonged my stay. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was fantastic. Nice big pool. Dive schools are in walking distance. Good location to do day trips (e.g. diving) with pick up from the hotel.

All guest rooms at the accommodation come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a safety deposit box. In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.
