Beautiful surroundings and location with private beach, and the staff was amazing and helpful with any and all requests all the while with a smile. We definitely recommend and will come back!

The main road offers many restaurants, both delicious streetfood and other options incl. Italian, Korean and Greek. There is a Buddhist Temple across the Seven Eleven. We stayed 2 weeks at Sea Escape, and already miss the beautiful bungalow by the sea. The view is phenomenal, right at the sea where you hear the sound of the waves at all times. Special shout out to Fim who really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Come here. And you’ll never want to leave. In all my travels so far. This one is hard to beat. From arriving and being greeted like family. The cold water and fruit plate as soon as you get there. To the MOST amazing bed! Honestly it’s out of this world. Spotlessly clean all the time. Sitting on the verandah watching the soaring eagles every morning while eating breakfast. It’s a different world down on the pier. Literally the most peaceful place on the island. Book it. You won’t regret it x

Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.
