Nice pools, incredible breakfast and fantastic staff that were very helpful. The resort is also a good place to bring kids and the staff love kids too.

Santhiya Koh Chang Resort offers modern rooms on Klong Prao Beach, which is part of National Marine Park on the Gulf of Thailand. It features an outdoor pool and restaurant. Absolutely amazing! We came for our honeymoon and the hotel blew us away. Beautiful surroundings and location with private beach, and the staff was amazing and helpful with any and all requests all the while with a smile. We definitely recommend and will come back!

Location was perfect, right in the middle of the walking street with minimarts and restaurants all around, and with a beautiful sandy beach just 2 minutes walk away. The owners are super friendly and always there to help you. They also rent scooters at a competitive price. Breakfasts are amazing!!

We received a warm welcome from manager Bris and her mother. The staff and Nii made us feel at home here. The bungalow is very clean, large and comfortable with strong Wifi. The garden is well kept and clean. The vibes are sweet, peaceful and kind. The distance between bungalows gives privacy. At a 5 minutes walk through a garden area with a Japanese restaurant in a romantic setting, you arrive at Klong Prao beach where there are relaxing cocktail bars and restaurants, swim and watch the sunset. The main road offers many restaurants, both delicious streetfood and other options incl. Italian, Korean and Greek. There is a Buddhist Temple across the Seven Eleven. Baan Rim Klong offers the perfect central location to explore Koh Chang by scooter, which Bris rents at a very reasonable price. The Staff is very helpful and extremely kind. We stayed 2 weeks at Sea Escape, and already miss the beautiful bungalow by the sea. The view is phenomenal, right at the sea where you hear the sound of the waves at all times. Special shout out to Fim who really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

I can’t really put into words just how amazing this place is. Just book it! Come here. And you’ll never want to leave. In all my travels so far. This one is hard to beat. From arriving and being greeted like family. The cold water and fruit plate as soon as you get there. To the MOST amazing bed! Honestly it’s out of this world. Spotlessly clean all the time. Sitting on the verandah watching the soaring eagles every morning while eating breakfast. It’s a different world down on the pier. Literally the most peaceful place on the island. Book it. You won’t regret it x

Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.

The view from the deck was beautiful, very quiet and secluded. Mosquito net was easy to use and worked well. A beautiful stay for a very affordable bungalow.
