All staff absolutely super friendly and helpful. We were met by Luca who hosted us throughout our stay and we were warmly welcomed into the Emerald Bay family. Luca took us out on the boat (dhow) each day to the amazing pristine white sand banks and turquoise warm sea - totally magical and relaxing. Emerald Bay is truly a genuinely special place, out of the tourist hot spots and absolutely in tune with nature and the location. We loved our stay. Thank you to Luca and Raphael for creating the perfect finale to our East African adventure.

Pemba Lodge is an eco-friendly resort offering bungalows made out of recycled boats and natural local materials. Each one is has a secluded location in the large garden and has direct access to the beach. Thank you so much for all. This place is a heaven on earth!

Facing the beachfront, Lala lodge Pemba Zanzibar offers 1-star accommodation in Mgini and features a garden, private beach area and restaurant. All units at the accommodation include air conditioning and a desk. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We stayed in the premium rooms. Property has recently gone through a renovation and is quite nice and a good value compared to the other two options in the area. They are really trying to create a nice experience for guests. They had scooters for rent to explore the area. Nice beach to walk during low tide. It’s a nice option in an area that has limited options.
