I felt very welcomed by the staff and the food was fantastic, I enjoyed the pool quite a lot in my time and it's nice that all the rooms have a patio/balcony to sit and relax :) it's also steps away from the beach which is obviously a beautiful bonus

The food is amazing. Purni in the dining area is amazing! Everything is amazingA There is something for everyone at the buffet! The best part was the free gelatos! We miss them!!! The apps make it easy to manage the dining experiences. Overall ...amazing 5 star holiday resort with beautiful, white sandy beaches and clear, turquoise water👏👏and you will be happy to know we have sent many family members to the same hotel already. Excellent family resort✅️

Firstly, Matemwe is a relatively quiet spot and the lodge opens up to the beach. You can spend all day just watching life happen or go for a swim/snorkel at high tide or get on a boat to snorkel further out beyond the reef. Secondly the space is comfortable and clean. The staff and the owner are also fantastic…friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast is great too.

They offer a delicious breakfast and a good variety of food if you want to have dinner, like us, in the evening without having to leave the place. There's butter, peanut butter and some sauces. There's a toaster for the bread. Each person gets two eggs per breakfast by opting out the preparation way - scrambled, boiled, Spanish omelet... Fruits is abundant (watermelon and papaya during my stay). Instant coffee and couple of variates of a Tanzanian tea are an option as well. Juice is available also.
