Located in the heart of Waikiki Beach, Oahu, the OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort features beautifully renovated guestrooms and suites with a modern Hawaiian feel and sweeping ocean views. I had a wonderful stay at OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. The location is perfect — right on the beach with easy access to everything in Waikiki. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had an amazing ocean view. The staff were warm and welcoming from the start. I especially appreciated the live Hawaiian music in the evenings and the relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. The pool, beach bar, and on-site dining made it easy to enjoy every moment without leaving the property. It truly felt like a tropical getaway. I would definitely return.

The waterfront views from our room were stunning — we could see surfers riding waves and boats gliding across the sea just yards away. The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.
