I think this is one of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed in. The front entrance opens onto a beautiful courtyard with gorgeous flowers hanging everywhere. There was something quite enchanting about the narrow doors and old stone walls, the lovely seating areas dotted inside and out and the stunning river views from the airy dinning room. We all absolutely loved everything about this hotel and we're sorry our stay was so short!

An outdoor swimming pool and rooms with iPod docking stations can be enjoyed just 100 metres from Colonia’s historical circuit. Staff lovely. Premises lovely.

With a red-tiled Spanish gallery overlooking the swimming pool, this colonial-style inn in Uruguay features free WiFi access in the entire property. This beautiful Posada was on a quiet street and minutes away from the historical center. The room was very tastefully decorated and spacious. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was elaborate with baked cakes as an option. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Colonia Del Sacramento.

Excellent, excellent value. It's directly across from the beach, about an easy mile walk from the historical barrio, and it's absolutely darling. It has a full kitchen, bath, facilities like a coffee maker and microwave, and there's even an inflatable spa on the patio you can use (with permission from the owner please). And don't get me started on the owner Rosana, she has been just wonderful to work with. I want to give her a hug but she's off-site! She is wonderful! This is the best place to visit.
