Quaint castle-style buiding just a short drive away from the center. It was clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. The reception checked us in easily and was very nice. She walked us over to our room and also explained where we could eat, as we had arrived kind of late.

Alex is sociable and outgoing yet balancing privacy.Located in quiet area one-way street adjacent to a brook and 7 min to main shop street.We stayed in Oct 23 and rebooked happily for our return,perhaps the best compliment.     Our stay at Gashof Zur Strass was great! The lady at the reception was really nice and friendly, the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is right next to the bus stop for bus lines 130/140 that connects you from the hotel to Salzburg city center in 15-20 mins..
