The host was lovely and ensured we had everything we needed. The location was great in a quiet area and just a short drive to Linz. The breakfast was a fresh & delicious assortment of meats, cheese, granola, yogurt, breads and an egg. The room size was huge and the bed was very comfortable. A good-value stopover place to be noted, for it provides very comfortable accommodation - in the room I had, the double bed with its thick mattress and soft topper was one of the best I have ever slept in. The whole room was simply but well-furnished and decorated. Excellent wifi and the street outside is very quiet. Parking was not a problem. As the hotel's name implies, the restaurant offers excellent "Backhendl" - a very tasty chicken cooked in breadcrumbs - an Austrian speciality definitely worth ordering. Friendly service and an easy self check-in procedure (provided you have a smartphone with you).
