the place is amazing, no comments. the room was good, breackfast good, personnel very helpful. and they have very special self service fridge. let it be surprise for you. definitely recommend for families who do not need very challenging climbing but rather enjoy wonderful hiking routes with amazing views (Alpen). easy parking in front of entrance. the views, the sound of cowbells, hiking to Reuterrwanne between calm cows and horses. fantastic time. Also, if you want something more challenging, there is fantastic hiking rout onto Sorgschrofen (super good reviews). for us it is too steep, maybe next time :), but if you are fit, go for it, definitely (the views will be even more amazing)

We enjoyed this Bed & Breakfast very much. Easy access on arrival and warm, enthusiastic welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. The balcony was a great spot to sit after a days hiking and just enjoy the mountain views. Many wonderful hikes in the vicinity. Breakfast in the pretty traditional stube was excellent and really set us up for a few energetic hikes. Just a few steps away was a pleasant small restaurant which had a chef who really knows how to cook! Great spot to spend a few days exploring this region.

Gintherhof epitomises genuine guest house hospitality in a way that no hotel, however smart or expensive, can possibly match. From exquisite antique linens to highest quality down duvets, to the provision of hiking rucksacks to borrow, the thought and care by Annelies and her parents was heartwarming. The farmhouse is full of charm and interesting artefacts at every turn, the pine panelled bedrooms so cosy and inviting. Breakfast was off the scale - in addition to fresh fruits, nuts, cereals and yoghurts, there was a vast selection of homemade breads and jams, with cheeses, hams, local eggs and other savoury delights. We were even given bags and encouraged to make a packed lunch for ourselves! We left feeling restored and grateful for such kindness and friendship. What a welcome we will never forget.
