Clydesdale Manor is a beautiful house, and lovely place to stay. It is peaceful and quiet, and you may have the common areas to yourself at times if you are lucky. Very spacious queen room and clean, modern ensuite. The garden is beautiful, and the place is kept in lovely order. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, the location is in walking distance from the city and you can stroll past beautiful period homes and Sandy Bay on your way. The continental breakfast was nice, and the port left out for guests and board games are a lovely touch. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

The Lodge on Elizabeth offers heritage accommodation just under a kilometre from the Hobart CBD (Central Business District).

I enjoyed the heritage feel of the property and the calm, quiet atmosphere. My room was lovely and I appreciated being upgraded from the ‘little’ room (although that would have been fine). The hosts were very friendly and helpful and I will certainly book there again if I make a return trip. I was also glad to find residence parking alongside the hotel (I may have missed that information in my original booking). Thank you! Jill
