The whole experience was of a five star hotel. We had stayed in a four star hotel the night before and it exceeded that. Lex is a charming host. He had had an exceptionally stressful day and thought he had to cancel our booking but it the problems sorted before we arrived. In the meantime he had wasted time trying to contact us to tell us not to arrive. We were cycling and missed all his messages. The room with the terrace is amazing. The breakfast was exceptional. And Lex is a delightful and interesting host who spent time with all his guests. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was absolutely great. Looked forward to going downstairs for breakfast every morning. Breakfast included all my favourite eats and was served at the time we agreed. The room and bathroom were beautiful and neat and I loved the fresh towels daily. The location worked well for us as we could travel to and from our appointments easily.
