A beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean room in a car-free and 'you can hear a pin drop' quiet village with views of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau at the Top of the World. Fabulous, fairly priced and varied food - "home"cooked by people who care about ingredients. Friendly, caring and kind staff. Staying at the Eiger Guesthouse means free entry to Muerren's Sports Center - with a 25 meter - again spotlessly clean - pool, and whirlpool. 5 CH (Swiss Francs) more to sit outside in the hot tub looking at gorgeous mountains. Hiking is incredible here -- and the wildflower meadows are stunning.

This place is run by a lovely couple who are genuinely kind, helpful, and solution-oriented. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. The room they gave us was beautiful, clean, and cozy — exactly what we needed. Their warmth and hospitality truly made a difference in our trip. The place and the views are phenomenal. As the cable cars stop at 5 PM, there is only you and a few other hotel guests left. Now the mountains are yours to enjoy in its serene setting. This is especially precious for a region as popular and otherwise packed with tourists as Lauterbrunnen / Jungfraujoch. For a mountiain lodge, the accomodation is still very comfortable, clean and well equipped. This was my favorite place to stay in Switzerland.

Loved the building. The location. The staff. Breakfast. Dinner. Loved that there were passes given to us to use for the public transport (bus stop just up the road). Some of the rooms are a little dated, but I think it adds to the charm. We stayed here over Christmas and it was decorated like a hallmark movie. Thanks for an amazing stay.

    The hotel is ideally located in the small town of Lauterbrunnen and is very quiet despite its proximity to the train station. It consists of two locations: one in an older building and the other in a new building almost directly across from the old one. Everything is new and clean, though very modest, but sufficient for basic needs. If you stay here, you know what to expect—definitely not luxury. Nevertheless, the overall impression remains positive.

    really nearby the train station (Lauterbrunnen) & train station up to Mürren. the room is quiet spacy for single traveller & cheap. worth every penny!
