The location is great as it is outside of a quiet village and very tranquil. The bungalow is large and conveniently furnished. The owners are very friendly. We enjoyed the daily breakfast on the big terrace of the restaurant. There are several breakfast options and the Costa Rican breakfast was sensational. We would definitely book this place again. The ambience is great. The staff at the Nepenthe were very helpful. The Phoenix restaurant is great too. Juan, the maitre d', was charming and so so helpful; played a large part in sorting out a badly mozzie eaten foot by providing flasks of mango leaf infused hot water in which I soaked my foot.
