Sergio and Katja are great hosts, always going above and beyond to make sure, that their guests are enjoying their stay. We felt very welcome and Sergio took care of our tour bookings and even shuttle service if necessary. Would definitely recommend!

Rooms were nice, simply a place to stay, but what made the visit amazing was Lili She was incredible, gave us great tips, discounted tours, cooked breakfast and was such a nice and wonderful soul to be around. The house is a 10 minute walk from the city center of Santa Elena but the stay was really nice and I loved that there was a kitchen too

Beautiful spacious lodge overlooking the coffee farm. Jennifer gave us a nice tour of the farm and offered a great breakfast as well as leaving some fresh ground coffee in our room. Loved the view from our beds of the hillside!

Hotel Guayaba is a wonderful place to stay. Just a 10min walk into Santa Elena town, and very well located for the Cloud Forest, wildlife tours, ziplines and other activities in Monteverde. Ernesto is so friendly and was very helpful in booking us a tour and getting a guide last minute. He even leant us umbrellas! The breakfast was delicious too. The room itself was fabulous - absolutely huge! The bed was so comfy and sheets were really soft too. Having a well equipped kitchen was such a bonus as well. We would really recommend Guayaba as a base Monteverde!

Beautiful location. Spacious clean rooms, warm shower. The breakfast was very good and we got a lot of food, including local fruits which were amazing. The owner is super friendly and very helpful. We even had a nice dinner at the restaurant.

    Great location, great rooms, private and good beds to sleep in. Location was good, close to the small centre. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and one day pancakes other days scrambled eggs. The personel is the best. Great reception from Jorge and Ro gave good tips and was very nice all dat around. Would very much recommend staying here!

    The hostel is run by a a charming and friendly family including Katrina the dog, Great breakfast and great location - minutes from the centre of Monteverde but also just outside the centre, meaning it was quiet. Great value for money and one of the best places we stayed on our trip. The breakfast pancakes are recommended too.
