We loved everything about this place!!!! The owner was extremely nice and friendly and made sure we have a great experience! Its in the middle of the jungle and you can spot many animals there. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is super clean and he has the cutest cat ever! The included breakfast was amazing and probably the best one we had since we are travelling. Highly recommend staying there even longer theres so much to do in this area.

The breakfast is amazing, everyday is a new breakfast, served like in a restaurant. It tastes amazing and is of course cooked by Toñi and Jessica. It often includes fresh fruits salad, a bigger plate with salty delicious things, and finally a pastry. You're definitely ready for a good day around Puerto Viejo. The rooms are big, there is a lot of space around, you're in the middle of the jungle and will definitely see some sloths, monkeys and birds. I would 100% go back in this place. Muchas gracias!

Great secluded lodge in the jungle Very friendly hosts who gave us lots of great hints for animal watching and the highlights of the region. The nice wooden chalet was very comfortable. The shower was amazing: never had the option of showering cold and warm in the jungle before- awesome! We could hear howler monkeys in the morning and saw tucans and monkeys as well. If you get up early in the morning this spot is almost better for animal spotting than the national parks. The breakfast was also great: some fruit and bread with jelly as well as eggs, coffee and orange juice.

We really had our best time at Casa Luce!! This place is magical & cozy, especially at night when all the lights are on. Everything is setup with so much love for detail - starting at the perfectly equiped kitchen as well as the rooms. Chiara & Ray are amazing & so welcoming! They gave us great recommendations what to do and we could even park our car there when we went to Panama. The cutest dog Luna is another big plus!! We would definetly come again!

High quality rooms! Small hotel run by the same people as the great Italian restaurant. You have your own terrace overlooking the pool, garden and the sea. We saw lots of birds and butterflies in the garden and racoons. Highly recommended.
