Madre Terra is the perfect place to just 'be'. The rooms are so comfortable and the vibe so chilled that you won't want to leave. Relax in the pool, say 'hello' to the dogs, grab some food from the nearby restaurants or just lounge around on the sunbeds, it's all there. Marci and Sandro are so friendly, helpful and just add to the already relaxed atmosphere. Also the attention to detail and thought put into the rooms didnt go unnoticed. Staying with them is exactly what we needed.

This is a great place very close to many different activities. Supernice and friendly young couple is running the place. Really very helpfull and kind. The place is new, everything is fresh. Great view from the lounge. Old style house feels very authentic. Rooms are small but very cozy.

Honestly this is the best hostel in Uvita. Its location, friendliness, comfortable bed and enough space in the room. It’s surrounded by green, nice chill vibe to hang out. Excellent value for a very friendly price. The name of the hostel “Luminosa” is true!

This place just amazing! If you have a chance to book it - don't think twice, you will no regret! It very clean - girls do their best with everyday cleaning. Nice garden where you can see lot of birds just from your terrace. Imagine you can see hummingbirds when you drink cup of coffee. Good Wi-Fi if you need some work. Comfortable beds. It next to the bus stop - you can get whatever you need with the local buses - Manuel Antonio, Dominical, Waterfall. You can use Corcovado tour. But Marino Ballena and Uvita beach are just incredible and this was one of the best experience in my life. If I will have a chance to visit Costa Rica in future I already know where I will stay for sure

They have such a lovely outdoor shower!! Love love love it! The pool is nice and refreshing. Not so hot, which is good since you want to cool off. The sleeping pods are small, but I don't find them claustrophobic as some people in the comments say. They obviously have never camped before 😂 They have free coffee to make and a fair kitchen to use. It had a nice ambiance!

Cabana was in a spacious compound behind the owner's home. Host was friendly and available. The gate to the compound was secured by a large chain and padlock. While I appreciate the need for security, I found it awkward to remember or look up the code for the padlock every time I went out. The cabana was great for me travelling alone, but may be cramped for 2. It was very clean and kitchen utensils were provided. Also a communal fridge was available. Cabana was very close to the beach, with small supermarket and a few places to eat in nearby hostels. Walk into the town centre is about 30 minutes. Overall had a good stay.
