The owner is amazingly nice and you can speak freely in English. Interior of the hotel is very pleasant and cozy. Rooms are clean and with good modern amenities. Breakfast was very tasty with many local products. All in all, a strong recommendation for everybody visiting Rhön area.

After many years I met again an old time German hospitality and trust, in the restaurant You can take a food (did not try personally), write in the book what You took and then pay later if nobody is there. Sentimental reminder of good old times when people trusted to each other...

Pension Weinig is situated in a quiet area on a hill. It's a short walk through the neighboring beautiful cemetery and town park into the downtown area. There are beautiful views of the hills, nearby walking paths, and starry, starry nights. Lovely.
