We have been in this property also 2 years ago and, because we happened to be in the area again we decided to stay here again. The choice was just great. We knew the place and it lived up to our expectations on the second time. Right in the heart of the German Hertz area, you'll enjoy a variety of activities in the German hills being close to many medieval villages at your fingertips. Our room was spacious and clean. Super clean hotel! Very quiet surroundings and quiet hotel! Our son made some noise at 6-6:30am on Sunday, so if in some reviews, next to mine, will be written the guests were noisy, it was us! 😬 guests are not allowed to walk inside with the street shoes and it is great!! I think they use organic washing powder for the laundry and I think the soap in the bathroom was organic too. Communication with Britta was also great!

    With the whole family, we actually booked an apartment with two bedrooms (there was one more bedroom available) under the roof. The place was super quiet. The breakfast was very good, tons of options, the staff upon my advance notice even arranged for gluten-free rolls for my wife. The place is a good start for hiking in Harz (e.g. when going to Brocken).
