To put it in a few words, this was our best experience in a trip where we visited 5 countries and 8 locations. Having previously been to Paris, arriving at Aggarthe was like finding an Oasis in the middle of the desert. Diane was, in a few words, the best hostess we've met in years of traveling. Always with a smile and eager to help, she made sure that we knew exactly all the things we could do around Bayeux and even made sure we could rent a car during the low season. Breakfast felt like a buffet, even though we were one of two families staying, and her Security Detail (i.e. Gus and the cats) raised the quality by 100 points for dog lovers away from home. The room had everything you could hope for or need and the bed was as comfortable as it gets. We were also provided with free parking space meters away from the location (Great for people who rent cars and don't feel comfortable leaving them on the street)

We so enjoyed our stay with you. The check-in process was quick and everyone settled into their rooms then we went our walking around the city. The location is great because it is quiet but so easy to walk to everything. We slept well in the comfortable rooms and the breakfast is in the morning which was so delicious. Your suggestions for things to do were a great addition to our itinerary.

Lovely welcoming and friendly hosts. Bit unusual to stay in the hosts spare bedroom but that doesn't matter as they were very friendly so this wasn't an issue. Location is right near the village centre so ideal for our needs

Beautiful location! The rooms are very spacious, cozy, and clean. The local food served for breakfast was delicious, as was the Norman dining experience for dinner. But most importantly, the hosts are the best—not only super friendly but also incredibly helpful and understanding when we had a terrible situation with the car rental company. The rooms were very clean and looked beautiful. The owners were caring and thoughful, the breakfast was nice, and we felt taken care of. The garden was lovely and cozy. The hotel is located in a village and has a country style, along with a church near the hotel, which rings every hour until 1 AM. Overall, our stay was great and we would recommend it..

The location was great! The hotel is inside the village and the beach is walking distance (2min). The hosts were very kind, willing to help us and give information about the attractions of the area. The room was big and clean. Every day they cleaned the room and made the bed. I highly recommended! P.S: If you have an electric car, there are two car plugs.
