Beautifully decorated, the room had everything from a coffee machine, a wide selection of teas to a hairdryer. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, croissants, bread, jams, yoghurt and more. Caroline is lovely and had even prepared dog bowls and a towel for our dog. We loved our stay and will be back!

If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

We liked this house because for us it was an experience to stay in an old French house with a XIX century cozy design, but modern facilities. It's well situated, with a good view. We loved the charming birds and frog sounds we heard from outside. It was silent in the night and day as we were looking for a such calm place.
