Maison Jules is an absolute lovely place, peaceful, tasteful and spacious. It is also well situated, easy to find by car, close to the railway station and a short walk away from the cathedral, the castle and the Loire river. The old city centre with bars and restaurants is also at walking distance. Alexandra is a welcoming and thoughtful hostess. I would love to come back

I picked this place primarily for the location. I loved it because of the wonderful people there. They were very helpful with directions and suggestions. They were also very patient and encouraging as I practiced my French with them. The room was large and had the most comfortable bed! The kitchenette was a nice bonus. The room was clean and private. I had my own private garden area that featured blooming flowers and a fruitful lemon tree. I managed to resist the temptation to try one, but they smelled so good and they were so pretty. The breakfast looked and smelled delicious but my schedule kept me from trying it. The coffee was supurb. It is conveniently located a block off the main street and 5 minutes from the train station, so it was easy to access to food, shopping and travel. I always felt safe there. I would absolutely stay there again if I ever get back to Tours. Thank you for a wonderful vacation at my home away from home!!

This property was totally fantastic! The property is spotless - we had a superb room - that had been furnished in the most tasteful manner . Everything was such excellent quality with a very very comfortable bed . We had lovely doors that opened out onto the garden . A little table and chairs were provided and nicely screened from next property with plants . We sat out twice with wine and a picnic in the evening . Our hostess has designed a super kitchen where you met with other guests in the morning . A very generous breakfast was provided that stopped us eating until the evening ! We sat with French and Danish guests this morning and did not want to leave . The swimming pool was spotless with very comfortable sun beds . I can’t say there was anything missing or not good at all . The only problem we now have is, can any other properties be as good as we travel through France . Sorry such a long essay !!

Small and nice hotel near train station. You will get everything you can see in description. Room is big and well decorated. Hostess is very hospitable and helpful. For additional supplement you can use garage with electric car charger which is very convenient in winter time. Street parking is available on nearby streets also.
