Staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming - we had had a long journey - 36hrs, from the other side of the world - we had to stay overnight near Cardiff Airport, in order to pick up a rental car the next day, and were exhausted. They kept the kitchen open especially to cook us a meal, which was great. Food quality excellent & freshly cooked. Good night's sleep, despite our body clocks telling us it should be daytime. Decor is lovely, thoughtful, resting. Would definitely stay again.

    The breakfast was prepared exactly how you wanted it. The property was quiet and in a great location. Lucy and Clifford used good messaging (for example, on the slip of paper accompanying the room key) and were not intrusive hosts.

    Meryl is a great host.. The house was easy to find and exceptionally clean, the bathroom facilities were faultless. Room was quiet and bright with a large window. Bed was very comfy. Good location to explore Barry without the noise of the town centre.
