Everything. This is the best B & B I've stayed in. I was in the area for a walking weekend with three friends. We all felt the same. The building and grounds are beautiful; perfectly presented, maintained etc. The rooms were tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, warm and very comfortable. Stefano was extremely friendly and could not do enough to make us comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and carefully presented. The location is perfect - an easy walk from the shopping area but just far enough to be quiet at night, allowing a great quality of sleep. We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back!

We had two nights at the crown hotel The welcome we received was excellent & we couldn't have wished for more The room was to a high standard & the bathroom facilities were also to a high standard We had two meals while staying at the crown hotel The meals were tasty and the cost was ok All the staff were friendly and helpful We would come back to the crown hotel

Tony was the perfect host. Stayed for only one night, but it was the ideal way to start our vacation. Upon arrival, Tony gave us a friendly tour of our room, which was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. what’s not to like about this lovely hotel?! first of all, we liked very much the idea that it belongs to the community of Gartmore , thus giving it a sense of familiarity and warmth. rooms spacious and very clean, hearty breakfast and a nice, cozy pub to unwind! the manager of the hotel told us about the history of the place and how it ended being sold to the people of Gartmore and we will definitely return!

The suite was gorgeous. Beautifully presented and very clean. The little fridge with milk and water provided along with bowl of quick grab breakfast options and fresh fruit was a lovely touch. I’d booked short notice and Liz was so accommodating.
