Anne and Scott were terrific hosts who looked after us extremely well. Our room was very comfortable the breakfasts were great and we were fascinated to hear about the history of the building. Was great to swap B and B stories with Anne.

I spent 2 nights here and absolutely loved it. I stayed in a room with a sea view, which was simply amazing – waking up to that view was a highlight of my trip. The Penellen guest accommodation is just a 2-minute walk from the beach, in a calm and stunning area. There’s a lovely café on the way to the beach and a great restaurant only 5 minutes away on foot. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The owner was really nice and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I had a peaceful and relaxing experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

Lovely ground floor apartment only 5 minutes walk from Marazion. Private Garden and parking available. The host delivered fresh croissants and scones (with clotted cream and jam) so no need to worry about breakfast. Will definitely return to this property in the future.

We felt welcomed and very comfortable from the first moment. Clean, bright, cosy, modern and spacious room and breakfast room, very friendly staff with recommendations for places to visit and to eat, lovely breakfast and coffee. The house is almost directly on the fantastic Porthminster Beach and 10 minutes walk away to the centre of St. Ives. The steep path to the house didn't bother us as we arrived with a car and we were happy to have a parking place in St. Ives. We had room Nr. 9 (view to the garden) but we have not missed the sea view at any moment. It was a perfect location for our holidays. Thank you for welcoming us!

Carol was a lovely friendly host who made me feel so welcome with a cup of tea on arrival after a big drive. Friendly and helpful with advice and suggestions for food and parking in St Ives. Bed super comfortable. Facilities clean and spotless and the decor beautiful. Highly recommend this place for a lovely relaxing stay

We were let down last minute by airbnb and were rescued by The Western! Staff were helpful and welcoming and the breakfast options were fantastic. Lovely hotel, great value for money, we were given a room upgrade (thank you!)

    Breakfast excellent, especially liked the fresh fruit option, although hubby very happy with his Full English. Parking easy & on site. Hosts very welcoming & helpful. Not an issue for us, but guests need to be aware this is a hilly area, so walk to beach is down a steep hill. Frequent, cheap train to St Ives, so leave the car behind when visiting restaurants etc.
