The rooms are new. specious and very clean, there were many guests in the lovely garden, and the staff was friendly. We arrived late and although the restaurant was full, they managed to find a table for us, and the food was good and generous.

Recently refurbished and really nice accommodation. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms have air conditioning and the location is excellent. There is a lift and a handy Coffee Machine at reception. The rooms were very nicely done and I think this accommodation is a great one in Dover which offers excellent value for money. Will definitely stay again when we are in Dover next time. And on top of that we had a really good sleep!

Room is clean and bright though it's over 200 years old.The rooms still feel comfortable and warm. And John is really kind and helpful. He told us a lot about Dover's history stories and recommended us a quite wonderful restaurant. It's the best thing that I chose this guest room and I am wishing to come back again!

A beautiful cottage tucked away near the Norman church, getting in was very straightforward and we had a lovely chill stay on our road trip back to Switzerland. The village is charming and we'd happily stay here again.

The Five Bells has no private parking. There was road parking directly in front of the building. Very friendly staff, dinner and breakfast were excellent. Room was very tidy.
